Im in the process of building my filters (blockbuilt) Im almost ready to fit the 4inch inlet into the static chamber. Was just wondering at what height would be best to fit the inlet pipe??? The bottom 8 inches are benched sharply to the drain, not where would be best to install pipe?
I would have said just above the benching and then with the static K1 Holed grid just above that. In this way any heavy solids/leaves etc, would be under the K1 and less likely to block. I'm assuming you are using the whole chanber as static, rather than having a seperate K1 chamber inside the settlement chamber?
It will have a round easy inside the chamber-my first thoughts were to put the inlet just above the benching-was a bit worried it may stir up anything that settles though? Im hoping the larger stuff will settle rather than get caught un the static k1.
