Cuttlebrook grow and show Koi - Update
Due to the leak on my plastic growing on pond, I decided to move the two grow and show Koi to the main pond with a few others. All the Koi had been growing really well, as you will see below (please excuse my poor photos).
This is Daisy's Grow and Show. It was 20cm when purchased from Cuttlebrook some 10-weeks ago and today measured 29cm.

Mine measured 30cm

Both Koi have a lot more Sumi now than when purchased, just need the Beni to settle down a little now.
On the Koi Quest day, I also purchased a Chagoi for £5, which measured 10cm. It was a tiny little thing a I guessed it was a runt that Mark and Lisa didnt think worth growing on. Moved it to the main pond today and it measured 26cm!

This Goshiki was also moved across, forgot the measurments - doh

This Beni Kumonryu was 19cm and is now 32cm, had been in the growing on pond for 4-weeks longer though, but 13cm growth in 14 or so weeks is pretty good.

Just a few smaller Koi left in there now, perhaps the extra room will suit them and the will take off like these have done.

Bob,
It may leak like a sieve and your filter may have fallen half way into the pond but by God aren't you getting some growth on them?
Go on then, spill the beans. What the hell have you been feeding them? What temp? How many fish?
As others have said having seeing the result you have been getting, I definitely can't wait to get my own system going.
David.

Hi all,
Beni Kumonryu was purchased from Koi Waterlife Centre. It's an Oomo bred fish, parents are from the same line that they have imported from previously. If anyone remembers John Burns Beni at the South East show, this is from the same line.
Temperature in the growing on pond is between 23 and 28, dependant on the outside weather.
Food - what else but Cuttlebrooks 51% super-dooper food. 2-3 big handfuls a day with very little waste apparent.
Pond capacity 450 gallons, turnover 500 gallons/hour through stacking boxes shower. Changing approx. 50 gallons/day water. Just plain tap water, no RO or anything flash. ORP running at approx. 250, so not very high either.

Bowled my Cuttlebrook Grow & Show Showa today and took a photo.
Unfortunately, it had a meeting with the patio back in July when it leaped out of the QT.
It took a while to get back to feeding normally, but now appears quite happy and has been moved to the main pond.
I think it was 19/20 cm when we got it in May, and is now 27cm.
