Oh Dunc you could not have posted that at a better time, however I have your old batch is there much change or shall I just use this one?

Have a Tancho Sanke that needs some TLC on it's gill plate so will post pictures up while doing.

Have we any recommendation on seconardy Hi that has appeard on two scales?

Also would be gratefull in a quick update on best procedure to administer the solution once again so I dont foul up.

the guy can tell you better than i nowdays how effective it is what i can say is

i have changed the alcohol in it to a much gentler form i now use ethanol and not isopropyl which is kinder to the skin but more expensive you have to pay duty on ethanol :(

it seems to work better with ethanol as well

thats about all i can tell you Graham all i can say is i have been using ethanol now for quite some time and i get great feed back i dont think you had the ethanol version im pretty sure you had the early stuff which was isopropyl

Hi Dunc;
I am in for some of the new batch. I was just wondering how to post the question and you have answered it.

How long will it keep if unopened and therefore no evapouration of the alcohol? as if it keeps would like a extra supply :D
tried it recently and have been really impressed with the results, bought a stunning Kohaku off A4 koi last year and developed loads of Hi on the face and one pec, used Duncs stuff and Hi removed from whole area, some healing to be done but treatment was quite extensive and took 2 treatments due to quantity, will post pics when take fish out of Q/T tank and back in pond. Also removed some hi off a sanke, 1 treatment and no skin damage visible at all. Now got a lovely Sanke and confident that Kohaku will be back to its original self. thanks Duncan!!!!!
