filter for growing on tank

hi i have aquired a ibc for growing on and looking at filtation now what type and size would i need ,i know im going to be feeding the small fish often and heating it but unsure as to what to use on filter,the cheaper the better please.even home made option aslong as its works out cheaper and not having to clean it everyday

Hi Grovsy,

Why not make your own filter you could make a shower Bakki House Media using a household bin like gazza or make a small PW type ERIC filter out of a hot water tank from B&Q. All you need is a tank, a standpipe (push fit fittings 4") brushes and some Jap Matt.

You could also have ago at makeing your own Nexus easy pod from a round bin etc..
