As promised on the CT thread i have sorted out some pictures and looked back in my notes on what i did when i found i had a sick Shiro. It was a funny one as the Shiro was a new purchase and went into the QT tank and literary the next day when my parents where over my dad had been out to the QT and said to me that new fish looks crap

Straight away we basically know we are dealing with a nasty bacterial infection (Aeromonas attack) and one which needs to be hit with a big stick and fast as otherwise this wasn't going to end very well.
Day 1 20.6.2006 I turned up the heat to 27c and put in a salt to bring it up to 0.3% and added 10gm of CT per 100 gallons once the tank was at temperature.
Day 2 21.6.2006 Treated with another dose of CT @ 8gm per 100 gallons.
Day 3 22.6.2006 Treated with another dose of CT @ 8gm per 100 gallons.
Day 6 25.6.2006 Carried out a 25% water change to freshen things up a little and fish looking much better and the red area had begun to reduce.
Day 7 26.6.2006 No more treatment and everything had settled down and there was hardly any marks on the Shiro apart from on a couple of scales. The Shiro made a full recovery and was back to 100% in less than 14 days and you could not see a mark on this fish after the first 10 days as if nothing had been going on.
This type of intense treatment can have remarkable effects on this type of bacterial infection and as long as you can catch it in time and have the correct set up to be able to carry this out it can be done without any problems, but we must remember when carrying out such treatments we have to be on the ball and keep a very close eye on things as they go through the treatment process.
Here are the pictures of the Shiro from day one and as you can see not to good:

Half way through you can see its been stopped in its tracks and is now starting to cool down:

This is as you can see from Day 6 and looking good and you can just see the odd scale but this all healed up within a few more days:
