What would people recommend for a UV on a 1500 gallon pond?
I have aquired a Yamitsu 55w but it is big, and uses a fair amount of juice! my pond will not be in direct sunlight for any more than 2 hours a day.
UV Sizes?

Re: UV Sizes?
hi m8
10w per 1000gallons as a rule of thumb so 15w would do

I agree with lee ... however, remember that flow rate is also important.
So, for example - if you plan to run a 10K (2K GPH) pump as you're feeding a shower or a Nexus - you'll have no choice but to use a 30 or 55w UV as most 15-25 watt units either wont work properly or are at their maximum limit with 2K flow.
TMC's figures are;
UV ... max flow rate GPH
UV8 - 600
UV15 - 1500
UV25 - 2000
UV30 - 3000
UV55 - 4000
