Hi all
I need some quick advice, I have a 3000 gal pond with a ****** aerated bottom drain and need to get an air blower what size do I need and which pump is recommended

Hi Dave,
You cant really have to much air and depending on your filter set up you could put air in both,what filters are you running and can you pout air into them
there are many air pumps on the market and i like to have a few so if one does pack in you still have some air going into the pond,my air pumps are Hi Blow,Airtech and Secho.
I run 200lts of air on 4500 gallons if that of any help

you need to be careful
various aerated bottom drains have differing capacaties for air going through
some will quote maximum of 20 litres per minutes whereas richdons bottom drain will cope with
200 litres per minute
make sure you get an air pump to suit your bottom drain
If in doubt ask the supplier of your bottom drain what it can cope with

hi all
Thanks for the advice I went to holmewood koi and got a charles austen enviro Et40 seems to be doing the job fine. not decided on my filters yet that will be my next question lol
