new pond

hi.
i am having a new pond built,i want it to hold 4,000 gallons. what do you think would be the perfect measurements ie. for koi and for myself viewing.

welcome to the forum
i would say 12 foot by 9 foot and 6 foot deep
raised about 2.5 foot out of the ground to give you a wall to sit on when hand feeding this will give you 4050 gallons not including filtration
