Hi all.
I am thinking of building/getting built a "hut or shed" for my bead filter and kit and want it to have a pseudo japanese feel.
Does anyone know where I can source some opaque material, probably some type of plasitc or pvc I suppose, to create some shoji sytle doors/windows as in the pictures below.
Has anyone done anything similar?
thx. Ian

I have this but it is indoors

But I used real Japanese rice paper. The funny thing is you stick it on with water based paste. The japanese then change the paper every spring.

You never do anything by halves and would suggest using glass (with kite mark) and obscured sticky window film you can pick up for a song on the dreaded ebay. Should provide the same finished look but will be heavier due to the glass.
Good luck, we love piccies but you know that

thanks for the ideas....enough to convince me to go for it.
I suspect it will be a longish project...

Hi Jules,
Not quite sure how we are going to get a tea room in there!! May be I need to think bigger and incoporate the pond expansion into my design.
Also puzzling about what to put on the roof.
Let me know when you are back in the country - I will probably need some help if it is ever to get finished.
