Bubblebead After The Nexus 300 ??????

Post by maxinegrundy »

Hello All
quick question
If i put the bubblebeab BBF3 after the nexus ...what size pump should i used between them ?
Or should i just run the BBF3 on it's own?

The nexus will be gravity fed.

Pumps i have to hand.
Aquamax 15000
Aquamax Eco 12000

Would much appreciate your help on this one..

regards
Max

Hi Max,

I personally would use them separately as this will give you more filtration with a better turnover time

It depends on what you want to achieve. Fitting a BBF3 after the Nexus will act as a polisher and also clean up anything that the Nexus misses. However it is a cheaper way to set it up as individualy you will have4 to fit a Sieve infront of the BBF and another 3,500gph pump, more electric etc etc. I have a client in Hinkley who has a Nexus 300 EAzy and a BBF3 fitted "inline" with a 7ft deep pond and it is immaculate.

Hope this helps?
