Gazza - wont be too long
Andy - Yes limbo pipe is replaced by one of the buried ones, just a couple of inches of concrete this time. No mould pics, sorry.
Jason - Hope to have the other pair of Vortex's in place and running over Easter and some more work completed by then. I dont suppose it will ever be 'finished' though!!!!

Big thank you to Justin, who came around to assist me with the concreting of the filter floor area. Unfortunatly my back went again yesterday and I was next to usless, able to only move barrow loads of concrete about. Nothing phases Justin, and on he went. Cracking job as you can see.

We then had some fun catching and measuring some Koi, I'll put them up on a seperate thread.

Well I've walked on it tonight, great to have a flat surface at last.
Back is a bit better today. Been to the doctors, osteopath's and hospital, no problems around here getting an NHS appointment (except the osteopath cost £23 again!)
Having an evening doing nothing (Xbox!) then back to it tomorrow, taking it slowly.
Wioll build the 2nd pair of Vortex's filter at the weekend

Only wish my problem was as simple as a bit of backache. I have trouble straitening up after sitting and cannot bend properly. On anti imflamatories and expensive trips to the osteopath. Ideally I need 2-weeks of lazing about doing nothing, but I've got that booked for August!!!!
Glad to hear though that you are fit and well and making good progress.

Yes, age and sitting on your backside all day is definitely not the best combination! I can vouch for that!! Take it easy Bob, it is meant to be a hobby not a mean of hurrying you to the next realm.
Having said that in side my still unfinished fish house it now regularly reached 22/23C on sunny days and the water was at 16.7C, almost 5000 gallons heated wihth one lonely 300W heater. I think I will turn the heater off now, don't want the temperature to go too high just in case we get a spell of bad weather.
BTW Bob, did you ever dig up that patch of brambles?
David.
