Hi Bob,

You never do anything by half do you! That is one big mechano kit! Wont be long before you will be sitting in the dry wondering what else you can build! :D Fingers crossed its not to windy when you fit the polycarb, my sheets were only 2m x 1m and they still made a very good sail!

Keep those pics coming :D :D :D

Made some good progress today, perhaps not as much as I'd hoped though. Will get the rest of the timbers up tomorrow and the Poly Carb secured in place, as I have a couple of helpers arriving!!!!!

Starting to take shape now and so far it's just as I wanted it to be.

Looking good Bob, still need to "soften" all those edges it will bring it on a treat. Ideal day for the sheets today no wind at all down this neck of the woods. Looking forward to the piccies tomorrow.

It's done!!!!!

A massive thanks to Gazza and to Justin who gave their time today to help me on this task. We finished the timber and then fitted the poly carb in place, finishing into the darkness. The weather over these 3-days has been just perfect and today there was little wind, just as the weather men predicted - lucky or what!!!!

A few pictures for you, so you can see we completed today. Just the rest of the associated work to now complete and I'll add pics as this progresses.

So what do you think of the roof??????

What a difference a Pergola makes :D

Its a top job done by Bob we had all the proper fixing and bits to make the job look great and it does look great the pictures don't do it justice.

One thing i will say is its big and when you look from above you can then see what an area this is covering and once done with all Bobs other little jobs this will be one cracking set up and a nice seating area to just chill out and have the odd beer or glass of wine :D

We had a great day with plenty of fun and what a lovely day it was which just helped us get it all done :D :D :D

Well, it's pretty obvious that Justin is standing on the wall, but in photo #8, it's not clear if Gazza is on the wall or actually standing IN the pond! :?

Looks great Bob - congratulations!

Cheers

Well done all a cracking job, weather was kind also.

Forgive my ignorance, have you got a load left over from the original picture of polycarb at side of house to do round the rest of pond???
