I wouldn't want to be down stream of the daily flush from that ERIC....... on a more serious note it would be interesting to know how they keep the water clean;
Continous exchange with fresh sea water (dribble in dribble out)?
A filter system with a % water change? if so what filter !
Or just large volumes of sea water pumped in/out all the time (guess they are not on a meter!)

I have been there myself before I started keeping koi and never thought about it but, as always Duncan has started us all thinking.
