EstroSieve 'float'

Hi all,

I have an EstroSieve that I bought second hand, that doesnt have the float. It came with a block of foam, but this gives odd results. Tried a block of polystyrene also, but that wasnt working well either.

So any ideas anyone? What could I fit to the bottom to act as a float? The spindle pushes upwards and closes a 4" flap valve, which restricts the incoming water.

Or does anyone know where I can get a proper float from, searched the internet, cant see anywehre to get one from?

This is the spindle inside, where the float should attach to

What was the problem with the polystyrene Bob?

Looking at it I was thinking could you fit a cistern float on the end or even on the side fixed with a drilled hole in the stem?

Ed, spot on, Darren from A4KOi says it is supposed to be a cistern ball float. Will get one and try it out soon!
