Simply Koi and More Koi

hi iam building my first koi pond and not sure about how to fit the bottom drain i was hoping someone could help i have dug the pond and want to know how to lay the drain pipe in the books it says to keep the pipe level till u go vertical but with my pond is just a hole in the ground with a liner how do i get the pipe to the filter as the pond will be 4ft deep
