hi, i currently have 2 ponds joined by a waterfall with a total of 3000ltr running with a pressurised filter rated for 15000ltr pond, not ideal koi filter but there all happy. anyway am replacing the 2000ltr pond with either a 3600ltr or a 4500ltr preformed pond. The question is what one considering the filter im putting on it which is a 4 bay multibay measuring 50" x 26" x 24" being fed from a b-drain from the new pond, while also using the old pressurised filter b-drained from th smaller old pond. there will also be a total of 45W of uv and will this be enough for th larger total volume of 5500ltr as id rather have the smaller pond and be able to see them rather than th current pea soup !
