i can get a pic of a hole if thats any good,

its 25' by 14' but this includes the filter bay once built it should be at least 15' by 12'... two bottom drains. separate vortex, an auqadine filter, skimmer, heater, uv, pump etc....... just hope it works cos im fed up with loosing koi ... i lost two jumbos this weekend.. i have just moved house well 5 mths now and have lost 5 koi now im gutted.. it only seems to be the big ones that die. i think its cos there living in one of those kids swimming pool things...

Have you got a filter on the temporary pond and how many fish :?:

the problem keeping fish in small bodies of water is you need good filters and maintenance otherwise you start to get problems.

The pond sounds like a nice size we have all different ponds and filtration so its always good to know what your doing just in case one of us has done something similar and can help.

So you will have two independent bottom drains and filter systems i take it.

how the hell do you get pics on this thing...

i am having only one filter system but am asured this will be plenty.. hope there right..
it will have two seprate pipes into the vortex on taps the vortex is huge and the aquadine can take up to 6500 gallons mine will be 5500 gallons..

The trouble with having two into one is that it can give you a different flow because of the pipe runs and pull needs to be 100% spot on :?

Why the two bottom drains :?:

You can load pictures onto a host site and then copy and paste them on here

i take it you have a degree on computers..

what did all that mean... :?:

i was told because of the size of the pond i would need two bottom drains, they will have independent pipe work into the vortex but will then mix through the aquadine ...
is this right ? its only what i have been advised..
like i say im new to this and abit nieve,
i just like the look of koi so i buy them but the ponds i had before were mickey mouse ones...
