Hi,

Once i had a nice little well enclosed garden with only one over looking neighbour , but now i have him and a big wall missing and what is looking like a good time for another pond, well hoping to see if i can link with my old pond hopefully giving much more water :P :P

Justin and bob popping round to see how big a hole we can dig ( mind you the size of the 360 behind my house it will be a few scoops

Have spoken to the lads doing the demo behind and they are fine with leveling my lawn and digging a hole , they said that they will loose all the mud over the site :P :P so that cant be bad.......

So watch this space , fingers crossed ,,, a few pics so far

Just some advise really John, good old ideas from everyone, leaving Danny to make his final decisions. Danny only lives an hour from me and it will be good to see the Window he put into his pond recently.

Justin may have some work though, he will build the whole thing inside a couple of days!

Keep Me in mind John we are not scared to drive up the motorway. Its a bit like going on a Bus Mans holiday  and it gets away from our wifes for a while  (although I think they are happier about as well)

Thinking done!

Dandy will I'm sure explain more detail soon, but this new pond will be linked to the existing pond and take Danny's pond from 3000 gallons to approx 8500 gallons.

Hi,
Had bob & thorny down yesterday , we had a look to see what would be the best size and shape to do and we all agreeded on the same , as bob has said the new pond will be roughly 12 x 12 x 6 =5400 gallons,

This will be linked to the 3000 gallon pond via a small channel (well not to small as my biggerns wouldnt fit) :P This would hold at a guess 100 gallons so should give me like bob said about 8500 gallons :D :D :D

the filteration is covered by what i have at the momment;
1x Aquadyne 4.4 running 4500 gph (yes i have a big pump)
1x Double bakki shower running 3500 gph
3x medo 80,s
1x medo 45
1x 23000 H/X

So the plan is to have the shower running staight off the new ponds drain
and some how use the 2 skimmers to mix the water between the ponds as small pond is where the H/X runs back to and this warmer water needs to mix with the larger pond .

Will keep you all posted on what happens :P :P :P
