Glass for a pond window!

Hi,
I've been messed around with the glass for my pond window. The glass should be 1500mm x 570mm. The top of the glass will be approx 250mm below the pond surface. Has anyone any ideas of a supplier down south?
Thanks in advance
Paul

When I got mine I had to travel to the midlands! Watsons glass gave the best price by some way. I did have to buy a sweater as it was a lot colder up there LOL. They may be worth a shout if you havn't tried them already, but you will have to collect as their delivery will double the price of the glass.
Good luck, it wll be well worth it.

Paul,
There is a place in Whitstable Kent that does laminated glass. If that is not too far, I can find the details for you.

Andy,
Thanks for your rapid response!
After being let down, I have had a quote from Watson's. Much cheaper by far but as you say they wanted more for delivery than they did for the glass.
I'm guessing It looks like a drive up to the midlands and pick it up myself. I'll don my besttest duffle coat, hat and scarf!! Do you think I'll need any jabs before the journey??

Hi guys,
I rang Rob at whitstable glass and he was by far the cheapest and had the quickest turn-around for the galss

In fact he was approx 60per cent cheaper than one quote I had. Looks like a pleasent drive down to Kent for me in the next week.
Thank you Justin and Bob for the info, the drinks are on me!

There's nothing pleasant about driving in Kent nowadays.
