Moved some of my Sturgeon from their pond into my new QT (to get the filters going). Abit weird but I found some stuff a couple of days later (today) under the pump that could have been caviar.

Apparently, sturgeon can only spawn when swimming up stream in a river. I obviously haven't put them in a river, just a QT, so would be amazed if it was the real deal.

It was yellowish and looked like gritty, slimy poo.

Ive got some crackers - the question is - Do I eat some???? :? :?

Hi bud

perhaps it was "gritty, slimy poo."
:D :D

If they are Siberian I think they have to be at least 10 year old to be mature enough but perhaps they had a practice run.

Good thinking. I scoped most of it out thinking it was gritty slimy pooh (thanks terry) but some remains on the pump, so I will observe and see whether any baby Pooh's emerge.
