Hi there,
Cheers for the kind comments guys. Was feeling a little down after the rain wrecked the rendering! Just want the pond done now as I'm really missing the fish even though I know they are being excellently cared for.
Gazza, Im going to use my original filters but I need a modifying weekend soon as I am giong o gazzify them with a geezy and dual 4" transfer ports (sound familiar?). I will then also add a TT with a load of the Bakki that I have. Gazza would one of your part P sparkies fancy helping put in my electrics?? I'm struggling to get a sparky off the site here??
Anyway hopefully the bulider will be around the weekend to finish most of the brick work (except the capping course, post fireglassing). I'l get ome more pics if he does.
All the best,
Andy

Hi,
The pond is currently covered up and has got a couple of heaters in it to ty to keep it dry as it is bloody damp out there. Dave is due down here on Thursday, but this will only happen if the weather holds for the day, if not then it will have to be delayed. So fingers crossed...
We tackled some of the rest of the garden over the weekend as we had the inlaws over and got them moving 1 ton of ballast and 2 tons of topsoil, I don't think they will be popping around again in the near future
I'l try to get some more pics up as soon as I can.
I've ben in contact with the glass people on the link provided i'm just waiting for them to come back with the spec I need and they have warned me that it may take a few weeks to come through!!
I'll keep you posted.

Hi Gazza,
I've been re-doing the the rendering on the base of the pond over the last few days. I've PVA'ed the whole thing again last night andI've just go to touch up the odd spot now, then it will hopefully be ready for glassing. Keeping it dry is proving the most difficult bit with all the rain we are having.
As Dave is off to Japan (lucky bugger), but I've booked him as soon as he gets back to glass the pond. Hopefully over the next week I'll get the chance (weather permitting) to do the copeing (SP) stones and all the pipe work so as soon as it's glassed it'll be ready to go.
As soon as I get the chance I'll get some pics of how it looks now
I'm really desperate to get it finished now and i'm sure you guys just want your ponds back to yourselves without my so and sos filling it up!
Gazza do your 4" pipes just go staight through each chamber? Or is there any up and down flow??
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy,
Good news mate sounds like you getting back on top of things again
My pipes just connect the vortex units together one above the other and are central so as the flow goes past it goes through the agitated K1 and i don't seem to get much/any head loss.
Do these pictures help one of the man himself at work
