I don't know any pond builders in that area but maybe you could try contacting koi clubs local to you and asking whether any of their members have had a pond built for them and, most importantly, were they happy with it, or do any of the members have local knowledge of pond builders.
Sorry couldn't resist - does this mean you're planning to become Russ Bigger Pond?

you answered a post about bacteria and flow rate, thanks for the detailed reply.
It would only be a bit bigger, I may end up getting the old brick trowel back out.
