my question is at present my pond is at 8.8 my fish appear ok but I have one aka masuba that has quite a lot of mucus on it in particular its head I have scraped her but can find nothing is it safe at that temp to dose the pond with pp just to be on the safe side as in your book dunc it says no fmg/malachite below 13??

Personally if scrapes were clean I wouldn't be rushing to add anything to the pond.

I would observe, take a few more scrapes in the coming days/ weeks and see if anything pops up on the scrapes.

ditto what Dave said stay cool and observe for now
if further scrapes show anything up get back to use for a treatment protocol there is one you could use at that temp
