we have had a good influx of new members in the weeks since Christmas, I would like to welcome them to their new forum

There is a wealth of talent here not least one of the best if not the water expert in the country namely Syd aka Manky sanke

But I have to say this... we are here to help you and we cant do that unless you ask questions and develop enquiring minds, there is a lot to learn for newbies and experienced alike

so please ,please ,please ask away and remember we all started somewhere and out motto is " the only stupid question is the one you never asked"

so ill say again welcome and make yourselves at home

Duncan
p/s my blog is private and entry is for people I know and can trust! and is designed that way to protect ME from the eyes of people I would rather not see what im messing about with treatment wise. So please don't take it personally if you ask and get refused entry! over time as I get to know you all and what your about , entry will be forthcoming

Thank you Duncan, and don't forget your own expertise that you've demonstrated over many years.

Yep everyone, I played with water chemistry and filtration equipment for a living for a little over thirty years and I love answering questions so ask away. Whether the question is water related, health related or a mixture of both, one or both of us will be pleased to answer it.

thank you for the welcome. it is by joining forums such as this that we can all learn and grow in this hobby. as a member of other forums also I find it very useful to have a wider range of advice and experts such as yourself and Syd. anyway once again a big thank you. love been here and having fun looking around at all the threads. I am also asking questions not only to back up my own opinion but to learn at the same time.

Hi PWNN,

Welcome. You've been a prolific poster on some other forums so I'm hoping we can look forward to a few posts on here as well.

The best way to learn is by asking questions. There aren't any dumb questions, just answers that we don't know yet so ask away.

Hi everyone

Just joined, I'm not really a forum person due to earlier experience (with forums in my country) but after reading various articles by manke sanke and articles on this site I decided to register.
Please forgive me my typo's and bad grammar, I'm from the Netherlands :D
I will ask questions and probably keep moaning about details but I'm always doubting my own few on things and looking for improvements

greetings Aschwin
