Simply Koi and More Koi

I have just treated my Koi for Costia with Mg & F (Malachite Green & Formalin) with dosage as per Duncan`s book with one treatment.

For the first 24 hours they were distinctly unhappy but 3 days after treatment they are fighting fit & eating madly.

Duncan states Costia is normally gone in one pass but repeat treatment mops up the stragglers.

I am reluctant to put my fish through un-necessary suffering & am interested to know if everyone follows the mantra of repeat treatments.

What do you do....single pass or repeat treatment. ??

my advise is do a scrape and see what you have left to deal with but I usually do two treatments for this ailment
