Simply Koi and More Koi

The British Koi Keepers’ Society is pleased to announce that the BKKS National Koi Show will be held over the weekend of 22nd/23rd June 2013 at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre (http://www.heartofengland.co.uk/).

The responses to our recent questionnaire clearly indicated that the BKKS National Show is still very much ‘in the hearts’ of koi keepers, and this aptly named beautiful new venue, in the centre of the country, has many additional facilities that we hope will make it a great day out for all of the family, for 2013 and many years to come.

To make the show a success will require a lot of help. We will need to form a show committee to help plan and manage the event, and of course will need a team of people to help at the show, and with the show build and take down. If you are willing to assist with any of this please contact us via secretary@bkks.co.uk

More information will be announced soon, in the meantime please put the weekend into your diary so that you can join us at the premier koi event in the calendar, and watch for regular updates on our forum, our Facebook page, and within Koi Carp magazine.Kind Regards

The BKKS has had some bad press recently but there are a few of us who are trying to get it back to its former status as a society for koi keepers.

To show that we're taking seriously the attempt to turn around the fortunes of the BKKS and saving money where-ever we can, whether in large amounts or small, we now even pay for our own bacon rolls at committee meetings.
