Sitting looking at a purple pond at the mo...
Noticed a couple of flashes yesterday and a couple more this morning..
Did 2 scrapes on the "flashers"
Few pics below, there were a few more but gave up counting..
x100..
x400..
Really didn't want to PP when my filters had just got right and now the temps are dropping....

Looks like I will have to treat again !!
Got more flashing and one looks pretty sad, sitting close to the bottom and rubbing .
More scrapes tonight and another PP tomorrow if it is still trich.
Anyone have any htought on a PP bath for the affected ones rather than treating the whole pond again??
I am thinking pond will need doing anyway, and a bath is going to be very stressful
But would welcome opinions.

Hi Markey
Take a look at the earlier post from `Dandji -Trich` about three quarters of the way down the page. Duncan recommended doing a PP dip to solve the same sort of problem that you are having. The dosage rate is also there for you.
Good luck
Chris

Did you get rid of the Trich.
In 2008 I had a very bad strain, it took 4 doses of PP every third day to get rid. Harsh treatment, but it worked in the end.
