Whitespot aftermath

Hi everyone.
It must be over a month now since I wiped out Whitespot from the pond.
The fish were quite beaten up from flicking and jumping, it all happened so quick, and didn't help with the fact that I work away fro 5 nights of the week :(
But I got on top of quickly.
Anyway all injuries have healed well, with no intervention at all, and no loses, which I am very grateful for, but the fish still don't want to feed from the surface with confidence.
They get excited and swim under the food but only pick at it. Occasionally they will go for it after one of them feels brave!
Now and again I will give them brown bread balls, which they love, and will go crazy for some sinking wheatgerm, only try this once a week!!
They used to feed from the surface very eagerly, up to 10 times a day, especially a couple of my large girls, but now they must be eating a handful a week!!
I've done more scrapes with no results, water is good, well over filtered, watched them for hours and all flicking has stopped!
Am I expecting too much?

Dave

All of a sudden my problems are immaterial.
My thoughts are with you Duncan

Hi Dave,

You may just need to let them settle down and after a few water changes they will hop[fully settle down as if they have been through a rough time they can seem to be a bit slower for a while but will normally get back to normally once things settle down.

Hi Gazza,
Spent a lot of time around the pond this weekend and got them feeding quite a bit.
Hopefully all is well.
I have caught a couple of my larger fish sulking a little, but are up to feed quite quickly once the food goes in.
Thanks as always Gazza.
