Thanks Gaz
Yes but it will take a long time, but in the main was at the end down to Lee and Steve (Joso) giving the correct advice I should have had in the beginning. When it all started I did call my local club, but I won't tell you the advice I was given it will amke you cringe
Where do I start?
* Ok had 5 fish in my QT for one of my Clients (Construction) to rehome for 3 months and my 20 in my main pond.
* My fish had been in my newly completed 13,000 Gallon pond for now over 4 months.
* Bought my 1st Koi (Gin Rin Kohaku) for 4 years at South East Show (Swanley) from the same business that I had bought most of my fish from and put it straight into my main pond. He was my trusted supplier and I had no reasons why I shouldn't.
* After a couple of weeks the new GRK showed signs of a bit of dropsy, now September and no heaters connected to my system.
* Me and a friend done a scrape on this and 3 others who all proved positive for parasites. Unfortunately as this was a 1st for me and due to my lack of experience mis diagnosed Tricodeana for Costia. Stupid I know
* Salt bathed all my fish fish and put them all into my matured QT. Now visulise this, I've treated the fish with the wrong treatment and they are now overloading my QT and mature filter, and being fed food with antibiotics in for around a month.
* After a while and having obvious higher ammonia and nitite (the antibiotics are now knocking my mature filters back) and my eldest fish a Ghosty developed dropsy and what I now know is a secondary BI, so I got a local fish vet out. Started adding salt to help also and he showed my how to inject and supplied me with needles Batryl etc. At this point no diagnosis of a BI, so my work wasn't doing anything with the cause
* From here for around 3 moths I started losing fish on a regular cycle, was injecting with Batryl (as at the time wasn't a member of any Forums, so no good advice or anyone to call upon) and not treating the secondary Bacterial Infection (which I again still wasn't aware of).
* After losing more fish and having my Ghosty put to sleep my vet took some scrapes and sent them off to a lab, the news back after around 7 days was Aeromonas Hydrophilia and A. Sobria.
* The fish what were left now had heat and I stabilised the Ammonia problem which was just adding to the vicious circal.
* I accidentally fell into Heat Ramping at the same time of the bacterail infection was diagnosed and now injecting with the toxic Gentamicin. At this point I still haven't treated the QT or filters (crazy now I know what I should have done). Lost my Chag on Xmas day then my favourite Showa on Boxing Day. Spoke with my vet and he said that he had no answer and he thought it would be best to put the last few to sleep
* As I say I fell into Heat Ramping and then googled the word and found Pondpals and then met Tommy2Ponds and Steve,
* From here on and after 10's of injections I was down to 6 fish from 26.
* Now getting the proper advice and shown how to inject properly including aneasthatising then (yes you're right all the previous injections were done by holding the fish with another pair of hands)

Crazy and I was putting my poor fish through unecessary stress!
* Steve gave me the confidence I required as well all the correct meds and from the photo (which Gaz helped me with) the last few had fin and tail rot as well as body ulcers.
* So after months of hell and probably over a 100 injections and now cleaning and topically treating the fish, I managed to beat the Bacterial Infection and got 4 through it.
Hope the above is clear and my experience is shown to others not how to do it. Then again that shouldn't be the same as me, as people are on here and will get the advice I never ever got in the begining or middle, but thanks to T2P's and Steve (Joso) did in the end.
So looking at the previous picture, the fish is now fine and the tail is totally healed (including the rays). Also a small showa that had loads of issues which included the dorsal fin badly rotted and the leading rays sticking out, he too has now heald.
So I got there in the end, but to the detriment of my fish, and maybe more would have survived if only I had found Forums in the beginning?
Thanks to everybody who has helped me
Matthew
