Hi this was posted on another forum and I have permission to use the photos,this is the worst case of carp pox on a Koi's mouth I have ever seen.

), any more details? I think this looks like a bee sting. Dunc could it not be a bee sting?

sorry mate this is the worse end of pox we say usually its no fatal unless it gets like this becaquse its obviously now hindering feeding
that picture i showed of mine the fish expired last week it was just to muchy of a burden for the fish toi carry and was causing secondarys all over the fish as the immune system checked out

I have heard of bad cases of carp pox - when appearing on pec fins mainly - referred to as pamilomas.... Is this correct and can someone give a description as to what point it changes over.

pox is exactly that the pox virus =what you refer to is something entirley different known as paploma paploma is a viral but at the cancer end of the spectrum
