Hi i had 3000l pond im thinking buy oase biofilter 10.1 is this good filter .Or can anybody recommend better choice th

We really need a bit more information. Does your pond have a bottom drain or will the filter be pump-fed? Do you have a skimmer? What kind of stocking level are you planning to have? What sort of maintenance regime are you after?

If I was you I'd get an Eazy Pod you can pump
feed to them I think but It will filter you pond
with out fail

Got to agree with the other guys. I'd get a solids handling pump to feed it too rather than the fountain pump you seem to have at the moment.

The Oase 10.1 is a filter filled with foam ... and as such is not the best thing to use for a pond filled with "poop generators". The 10.1 generally costs between £150 and 200 and the easy pod around £350 ... and for that sort of money (between 200 - 350) there are better complete options around. Complete meaning separate mechanical and biological stages and easier (less labour intensive) to clean

Probably the very best option, for such a small pond, is to build your own filter, but as this can be a bit hit or miss (without appropriate knowledge), buying a production filter is probably a better bet for someone just entering the game.

That or an eazy pod will do fine... a fair bit more cleaning maintainance will be needed with the Kockney Koi filter as oppossed to the eazyness of cleaning the Pod!
