There's one on here made out of plywood and one on american site made from plastic. I'm thinking of making one for my new pond so it can handle over 5,000gph flow rate straight from the pond with no pipework. Looks like I might be best off buying the internals from two Ultrasieves though rather than totally DIY it so not sure how much it will/would end up costing.

That sounds like a good plan! I might have one part built by then, or have decided to go with commercial ones, as I should be moving later this month.
