Cleaning my Ultrasieve

Post by bicolormoth »

* .. after re-jigging my air pumps yersterday I was giving the Ultrasive2 a bit of a clean. I always have to clean out the inlet chamber with a brush as the 'mulm' collects on the vertical walls and the slopey bit leading up to the wier. I use a filter brush on the end of a stick, its like a 'bog-brush'. anyway i then thought i would try a couple of airstones in there. WOW ! what a difference it makes.
I have never heard of anyone else trying this but have to say it works great , i highly recommend it to anyone with a sieve.
