compact sieve into K1 advisable ?

I have a small 560 gallon pond and would like to know if its advisable go from bottom drain to compact sieve into K1 or should a brush chamber to used inbetween ?

hallo if your using a sieve then you wont need brushes . i.v just fitted a sieve and i'm wondering wether to put static k1 into 1st bay or fluid ?? :)

Fishy,

You`d want your first bay to be fluidised really, then the second static bay would collect your `fines` before the water returns to your pond.

If you go the other way round, you`ll be quite upset at how ineffective your filter will seem, and at just how much crap goes straight through the filter.
