I've been asked if I would make a formal announcement of my up and coming open weekend 14th-15th April. That is Easter weekend, Friday and Saturday..

If you thought last years Koi were good, this years are another step forward.

I expect Duncan will be down again, with his book and medications.

I’m toying with either a raffle or auction, with the proceeds going to the Koi Quest KHV fund. I’ll put up a couple of Koi, I wonder if any others could add prizes to make some fun of it?

Food and drinks will be available all weekend; the BBQ will be fired up again.

Anyone requiring directions and a map, please E-mail or phone and I’ll send them out.

On the Friday evening a crowd of us will be heading for Cheung Chow, Chinese Johns restaurant (he’s a fellow koi keeper), if anyone would like to tag along please let me know as soon as possible, because we will need to book in advance. Last year it cost £15.00 per head.

Many are already planning to stay-over for the weekend, there are many B&Bs and hotels in the area, but remember it will be Easter weekend so early booking is essential. Either Clevedon or Weston-super-Mare would be best for staying over.
I think Taggy is staying in a ‘Castle’, he’s posh!

I'll be there Maurice and happy to assist with the cooking again, or any other tasks you may have.

Looking forward to seeing the new Koi, they looked good as 4-6" last Autumn.

PS, children are not a problem Graham, but an eye has to be kept open all the time.

For any who are wishing to stay over for the weekend, this link may help.
This is based on Clevedon (my home town and 10 minutes from the farm). For a wider choice, change the town to Weston-super-Mare, this is where the farm is based and a much larger town.

http://www.google.co.uk/local?hl=en&lr=&cr= ... &oi=localr

The link does not work correctly. Copy and paste the whole of the above to your address bar. This will give you B&Bs in Weston, then change for Clevedon, or hotels etc.

I am just going to check out the AA to see how far it is for us and how long it will take us to get there. Getting all excited now have been wanting to see Maurice's place for ages.

Chriskoi, hope you can make it down to the west country for the Easter bash, I'm only another 15 minutes on from Bristol, down the M5.

Food and drinks are supplied courtesy of Koi UK.

Doris thanks for your kind offer.
