Which Pumps

Hello all,

Have not been on for a while but need to see if anyone has experience of the following pumps.

I intend to purchase 2 pumps tomorrow in an effort to get the pond running before the winter sets in.

I have a choice between Sequence and Perfect Pumps.

Both are suppled by EA. Perfect pumps are cheaper to buy and cost fractionally more to run (pence) but have a five year warranty instead of 3 years as on the Sequence.

Pumps considered are Seq 10000s (87 watts) and 8000s (83 watts) or the Perfect Pumps 10000 (105 watts) and 7000 (78 watts).

Any views / experience would be greatly rec'd.

Cheers Dean.

Hi Dean,

I have no idea on the perfect pumps but have used Sequence ones for years and they are good pumps.

Hi Dean,

Both the pumps you have mentioned are both good,..........

As you know both carry a fair price, also i have used, still useing & fitted on ponds seq 7 perfect's & find them very reliable.

But if your looking for value for money i'd look at the Pond Eco range.. i know that tommy2ponds has a couple of them running & he's more than pleased with em!! :D

Hi Dean

I know nothing about Perfect pumps, but I bought a Sequence 75 when I first built my pond (about 7 years ago) and it became faulty after about 6 months. Phoned Pump House (the then distributor) who sent out a brand new 10000 to replace it, together with a return postage label for the defective one. New pump arrived the next day and has been 100% trouble free since. :D

Cheers

Bob
