phil if your getting better results than nexus you should go into production mate

. i may still go down that route haven't made my mind up yet.
as for my build wow

planned on 6inch of concrete ended up with 8 bit of benching to find bottom drain but all came together in the end.
as for my home made chute it worked a treat no shovel required the whole mix was in the hole in about 5mins even self levelled just a little nervous when bd dissapeared.

hello all quick question getting ready for putting returns in about 12" below surface does this sound about right.
going to put one at each end 2" dia.

I'd put the returns a bit deeper but it's not a big deal. The rest looks great!

finally reached top course and removed temporary cover bit more bricking then the fun starts never rendered before

3months in the making pond now glassed curtesy of dave a (first class job would recommend to anybody).
just got to decide on edging.

thanks for the comments.
i already have a small pond with 7 koi these will be going in new pond in the next few weeks.
going to move filters over as well although these are not big enough for new pond 2200 gallon but with winter on the way i think they will cope until spring when hopefully new filters will be up and running alongside old ones.
thinking about nexus but price is a bit steep.
i already have a large vortex so might go for multibay with brushes/static k1/fluid k1 with a homemade easy in the vortex.
any comments about either appreciated.
