Dan, what filtration are you running, is it solely a sieve & aquadyne?

I have 3000gallons, a 4.4 aquadyne running with a badu top 14 though a ultra III , a double bakki shower with sinthered glass media off the skimmer , a medo 45 on the drain and 3 x medo 80 ,s on a 4mtr length of uni hose that runs up the back wall.

Pond is heated to 26 in the summer then a few months at about 18 in the winter
I have i suppose 15 fish with most of them over 70 cm up to 1mtr,

And with a small pond with plenty of fish i must admit i didnt want dirty water with loads of bits floating around , as justin says its pretty clear (justin , fivers in the post) bits are a pet hate of mine.

filter handles all the food i throw at it ,which can be quite a lot
Great filters in my mind , but they do need a higher wattage pump than say a nexus, but thats the price you pay i guess if gin clear water is what your after

Thanks for the info.... your set up sounds excellent & is obviously giving superb water quality.

After all the positive feedback on the Aquadyne Its filtration I need to seriously consider.

I'm just looking forward to getting my pond built now!
