I am worried that if I put in much more K1 it won't turn over properly in the cleaning cycle but I do keep adding a bit to increase the thickness and am monitoring this. I suppose I could just chuck a load in and remove it if it doesn't clean.
Regarding the pump, I am running an Aquamax 10000 but have valved it down a bit in the return as it sucks the fluid K1 against the weir plate. I tried my old 5500 but this really wasn't turning over the water but I have always doubted whether it is working OK. Maybe the added restriction of the heater / exchanger will slow the 10000 down enough but if not I might get a filtertech 8000 pump to go midway between the two pumps I have.
