Hi,
Should have some pictures a bit more info when pond calls for water boiler locks out?? But turn off water for pond house heating and hot water fine no lock out??
Pictures are not to clear but first one that is pump that does pond as you can see pipes outside inline to pond boiler i can turn off via those 2 valves on the top so all seperate in my airing cupboard i have another pump that does house Heating/Hot Water

Hi Graham,
Is there enough water in the system can you go to the HX and crack the nut on the pipe work to see if the water is in there

Perhaps not enough water then Graham or the valve is stuck

MMM forced valve open on top and pipes warmed quickly as they are not to expensive i may get one to see if tat is where problem lies i cant see it been anything else,

Do you mean the motorized valve Graham?? If so check 240v at the motor terminal, if proved, a new syncro motor is about a tenner, a new valve is about £40..Mike

you have a air lock on your pond flow and returns,if your m/v is doing what its suppose to.

My missus works in a Plumbing heating shop so should be able to get one just want to be doubly sure so will do a bit of testing by forcing lever over i have nothing to lose if its broke,

Hi Taggs
The problem will be either your pond stat or the motorized valve.
( with the power off

) Pop the cover the wiring center that the black 5 core wire from the MV goes into (switch power back on) and check that you have 230vt to the brown wire, this is the switch live coming back from your stat, if you have power, then replace MV, if no power then problem will be at the pond stat end.
Any probs then give me a call.
