Adding a power cut off float to pump.

Post by Russ Little Pond »

Hello,

I`d like to add a power cut off float to my superfish pump, has anyone done this ? where did you get the float from ? will a switch box be needed ?

Thanks Russ.

you can buy float switches .also you would need some sort of waterproof box to join the float switch and pump .....

a friend built mine, he also built an alarm which will sound and the pump will cut off if the water drops below a determine level. if your interested i`ll ask him for a price as he was thinking of marketing them. he also thought he might fit a auto dailer into the unit to ring your mobile phone.
