I'm finally going to be able to build the pond but the only problem is cost. I'm just trying to find some sort of way of cutting down on costs but spending as little as possible. If anybody had any ideas it would be appreciated.

An economical pump!!! for years we didnt realise we were burning 750 watt pump.
Changed to oase eco 16000, same output, but 180 watts(less in winter).

i used local search on ebay i done a 10 mile radius from my post code on building materials and pond bits i saved a good bit just on that all adds up
