Hi All,

Dan the rain just about held off got a little damp just as we were finishing up :lol:

Lets hope tommorrow's weather is better than todays as the block work starts :D

Hi Darri,
The base looks like a nice job, i take it you mixed it yourself :shock: how long did it take and how much sand, gravel & cement did you use
i bet you slept well that night. keep up the good work and keep the photos coming

gazza,, ive decided on an ultrasieve 3 and an 2.2 auqadine,,
its going to be gas heated and air stones for oxygen...

i didnt mix it myself. it took about 9 tons off a lorry...
but then yorkie and hes lad worked they nuts off barrowing it in...

i didnt post the pic of my damm dog going for a stroll in my nice new concrete base.... :evil: :lol:
luckily it had dried abit... so yorkie didnt kill me today.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Coming along nicely I would not have wanted to mix 9 tons ether but barowing it in is easy :wink: Yorke are you getting old my old mate :D :D :D

nearly there..

finishing block work monday then the render and glass.... cant wait..
now its built we have 6500 gallons. happy with that :D :D :D :D

just a few pics shows the size its come out at....

Hi dan. Drew reckons the 2.2 will still be ok but I think I will go for the 4.4 just to be safe. Glad the fish are good I think I will lose mine in there.

I'm having a shed built at the end for a filter house. Yorkie has some ideas but thinks japanesse style I would appreciate any pics or ideas from anyone.

Yes a shed is always a good idea its amazing what ends up in them...like a QT or growing on tank :wink:

Looking good very neat block work do you want to come and show some of the guy's I work with how its done :? It all ways surprises me how big a pond looks until you put the water in then it shrinks big time :shock:
