Nearly Finished

Post by GrahamH »

Well stage 2 of my garden/pond build was started friday and completed friday and stage 3 was started and almost completed today, with a lot of help from Yorkie.
Stage 2 was to finish off the decking with ballistrade and some panels which caught my eye while browsing for something else on the net. This was finished friday afternoon.

Then came saturdays task......
To turn this lot

into a pergola over the newly constructed pond by close of day.

Yorkie arrived at mid day tools in hand and after a cup of coffee and a hotdog we set about digging post holes and getting the frame put together.
Once together they were set in place and another coffee break was needed.

Well as the afternoon wore on the light got the better of us, but Yorkie battled on in the cold and dark aided by the spot light and torches to get the job finished.

Theres just a few tiny jobs to do on sunday, and Yorkie left around 6.30pm for a well earned rest at home. After a quick tidy up, took a couple more pics and went in to warm up and have something to eat.

Many thanks to Yorkie for today as i couldn't have got it done with out him, plus it keeps the Mrs off my back for a little while now :D :D.....Well at least until October any way

Cheers Yorkie
