RTF 5500

Post by splinter »

Hi guys anyone got any info on the RTF 5500 filters, Ive just bought 2 second hand ones to run along side my exsisting 3 bay and vortex filter. Any info on performance, media ,and problems would be appreciated. P.S my pond is 3000gallons.

Thanks for your time.

Hi, I think that you will find that they are very similar to the filtertech 'beehive' filters,as apparently the bloke that runs filtertech used to work at rtf.Anyway Iknow of only 1 person that is using one with good results on his 5000g pond with a veggie filter and uv,I seem to remember that the maintenance regime was similar to the filtertech but I don't know where he gets his spare parts from.Sorry to rattle on,but I hope that this is of use to you :D
