Hello and thanks for the nice replies. The Showa is only a 7 inch Ogata tosai I purchased earlier this Year from KoiLogic in Essex. The Kohaku is also a 7 inch Tosai, but bred by Ogawa and purchased from the Koi waterlife centre in Kent. This is another pic of the pond I posted the wrong one first time. This is My second summer as a Koi keeper, I am already planning the next pond. Much bigger, cant wait.
Thanks for makeing Me a Sandbar Shark. I worry My Koi will not come near Me know for fear of being eaten lol

My filtration is a small settlement chamber, then 50 litres fluidiezed K1 the on to Jap Mat. Then 5000 litres return via two returns to create a slight vortex in My pond. Then another 5000 litre pump feeds My home made Trickle Tower. That is, first chamber flocur with a sheet of filter wool on top, then two chambers of Alfagrog. Since I added the TT to My pond I cant believe the improvement it made to My water quality. As I made that mistake most new Koi keepers make when starting out. Rushing to fill the pond with Koi and feeding them like crazy. I lost a couple of Koi due to new pond syndrome. I done a bit of research and added the TT all My troubles disapeared.
Heres is another of My Koi from Ogawa.
