the first one is a rotifer of which there are many species, perfectly harmlesshttp://www.microscopy-uk.org.uk/mag/ind ... rotih.html

the second is a nematode a round worm look much worse than it is
the difference is a fluke is a trematode a flat worm so if you cut it in half and looked down the end it would appear oval or flat
a nematode is a round worm if you cut that in half it would be like a sausage round
nematode are in the main internal parasites much like human pin worms but some get lost and can wonder outside

Thanks for the swift response Duncan.
I've just ordered some products from your site to have on hand.
Suffering from finrot which started after I had costia and give them a pp bath and pp pond treatment ,now been advised to add salt for that.
Your thoughts and what a great forum/shop you have.

go to 1/4 oz per gallon no more at this time watch and study the fish they will let you know if more treatment is called for
