I entirely agree,

When Duncan started this forum he spent a lot of time building its reputation as the number one place to go to for reliable and detailed answers to koi health problems or general information related to koi health and welfare. I came along later and, after 30+ years of playing with water for a living, I can talk for England about water chemistry, microbiology, pipes and filtration etc. It doesn't matter whether you actually have a pond problem at the moment, you can always post a question that we can answer for general information or which may be useful for others to read.
