The BKKS (British Koi keepers Society) and Koi Carp magazine

Post by fisherman »

The BKKS (British Koi keepers Society) and Koi Carp magazine
are pleased to announce that we have reached agreement today
in providing vital communication services to members of the
BKKS. Koi Carp and the BKKS have many common goals but at the
heart is a real desire to make koi keeping accessible and
enjoyable for everyone.

The first issue of Koi Carp to carry the "BKKS Update" will be
the December 2012 issue which goes on sale early November
2012. The December issue will be distributed to all BKKS
Membership Plus members. In addition, this membership benefit
will be available to everyone in the BKKS, rather than being a
specific category of membership.

Details on how to subscribe will be available in the magazine,
and shortly also on the BKKS website. BKKS members and
Sections wishing to contribute to the BKKS Update should
contact Syd Mitchell, the magazine collator, for inclusion.
Please email: articles@bkks.co.uk

BKKS Chairman, Stephen White says: "The Committee of the BKKS
are working hard to take the Society forward, and this
agreement with Koi Carp is just one step in the right
direction. In the first issue of 'BKKS Update' we will be
publishing a questionnaire, asking everyone involved in koi
keeping in the UK to let us know what we as a Society need to
do in the future. Please respond and have your view heard"

Mark Nuttall, editor of Koi Carp says: "This industry needs
the BKKS, as the National body, to be strong and we will do
whatever we can to support the BKKS"
