salmon oil: salmon farm or wild salmon?

Hey there,

I am discussing about a salmon oil which is for dogs.

There is a variety of salmon oil which comes from fish(salmon) farms and the other one from wild caught salmon.

My first instinct as t owhat is better goes to the wild salmon as none can be as good as nature. We can be close to it but not quite enough.

Yet the other person believed that the fish farmed ones have had studies that do not have the metal traces that the wild caught had and the ones in the fish farm are grown in a control enviroment (which supposidly is better)

What do you think?

hi

the ones grown in captivity in nets in estuaries I can believe have more essential oils as in this environment they can introduce what they need into to salmon right down to the colour of the flesh so yes I can believe it! However that does not make it right, you cant grow a fish to a nearly a meter in length in a year without your doing something you hadn't ought to its not natural and does not make it right

so yes and no to this question
